This bit has a smooth medium port mouthpiece. For size reference, this port is smaller than the best selling Large Port, the Tommy Blessing 8" Large Port Chain Bit. Being under 2" in height means the port will not work as much off of palate pressure but mostly outer tongue and bar pressure. This new bit design has smooth bars instead of chain bars like most of the Blessing Bits. This is a great option that will aid in additional bar pressure combined with an 8" cheek that will provide increased leverage and vertical flexion for the horse. Lastly, the shank design features floral scroll and silver bar work!
