Horses like this bit a great deal; the copper makes it appealing to a horse's palate. It is very mild for a twisted snaffle as the larger twist is less abrasive in a horse's mouth. Weighted rings encourage a lower head carriage.
Stage A bits are great for starting horses, training, or maintaining steady contact. Aspects include direct reining, non-leverage loose rings and dee rings with mouthpiece diameters 5/16" and over.
